Merry Christmas!

Today we opened presents at our house then went to grandma and papa's house and opened more presents. It was fun. I got a lot of cool clothes, books and toys.

Christmas Photos

Today we went to see Santa Claus so we could get a picture for our Christmas card.  Well, that didn't go so well.  As you can see daddy ended up in one of the photos.  But instead we went home and took some other pictures and picked one of those and one of our vacation photos from Gooseberry Falls for our Christmas card.

Christmas Party

We had our first Christmas party today.  We went to krazy k's house.  I got this cool truck.  It was made from recycled toys.  Daddy says that is a good thing.

Halloween 2009

I went trick or treating tonight with my friends. Two of us road in the wagon while daddy pulled it. It was fun. Daddy carved a scary pumpkin. I was a giraffe.

North Shore

We went to Duluth with daddy the other day. He had to go to go give a bunch of people a present correction: presentation, about work. Mommy and I went shopping, walking and watched ships come to the port while daddy was working. We went to a big fish tank place and daddy met us there on Friday before we went to a new hotel. Saturday we went hiking by a river and played in the rocks by a big lake, then went to have pizza because daddy said he knew a really good place to have pizza. It was good. Then we went back to the hotel and went swimming OUTSIDE! It was fun.

My Sunday Morning

Have you ever wondered what I do on Sunday mornings? After breakfast I like to play. Here is a video of me identifying shapes, playing speak-n-spell and moving a few things around my room.

I'm almost ready for winter

Yesterday we went shopping and out to lunch. Mom and dad got some new work clothes and I got a new winter coat and snow pants.

Snake

We went to a birthday party and there was a guy there that brought snakes, turtles and other wildlife with him. It was cool, daddy helped me pet and hold a couple of snakes.

Swimming

Today we went to grandma and papa's to go swimming. Today I decided to jump off the diving board.

Almost a big boy bed

Friday we took the side off of my crib so that it could be a bed that I can get in and out of by myself. I took a nap in it Friday afternoon. When I was tired I went and climbed in it and took a nap. When I was done sleeping, I got up and went to find mommy. I also slept in it last night. It was kind of nice to be able to get up and go wherever I wanted to when I wanted to. I decided that sleeping on the floor would be kind of fun because I saw daddy do it during nap time yesterday, he says he found me on the floor about 1:30am. Then daddy says that about 4:30am this morning I had enough sleeping on the floor and I went and climbed in bed with them.

I'm a BIG guy!

Today daddy (who didn't go to work today) took me to the store to finally buy a booster seat so I can sit at the table with mommy and daddy to eat. I think they took the hint when I would climb in a chair at the table at dinner time the other night. Here is a picture of me having lunch today in my new chair. I had a hot dog, cheese, grapes, blue berries, crackers, teddy grahams and water. Oh, I had a little rice crispy bar too.

Note from parents: we bought a booster seat to take to the cabin a month ago and it was damaged so we returned it and were trying to find a better one.

Another Friday with Daddy

Daddy didn't go to work again today so we could have some fun together. We went to the Fleet Farm this morning, daddy bought me a hockey stick and puck so I could play with my friends. I got a new hat too.

County Fair

Today we went to the county fair. It was fun! I got to ride a scooter around a roundabout. I did such a good job they gave me a cool hard hat. I had fun looking at all the animals too.

To the Lake

Today we went to the lake with some friends. The kids played on the beach and in the water, the mommy's chatted and the daddy's went fishing.

Cabin Day 2

Today we went to the county fair for a little while. I like the roosters. We were clucking at each other. Daddy and I made a sand castle this afternoon too. I made new friends when all the boys came to the cabin too.

Cabin Day 1

Today we went to a friends cabin. We went to the outlet mall on our way. You can see in the video I tried to call some people and tell them what we did today. In the second video you can see us play a little "Where are you?" and I show you where my nose is. And in the third video I am making a big frog make noise when I walk by it in the sun room.

Happy Anniversary Mommy and Daddy

Grandma wasn't feeling well for a couple days this week so daddy stayed home with me and tried to slip in a little work time. I tried to get away with a little extra shenanigans and daddy didn't like it. I think his favorite time of the day is in this picture. Today is also mommy and daddy's wedding anniversary, it's kind of like a birthday for when mommy and daddys get married. We had a special dinner.

Happy Independence Day

We had fun today. We had two parties to go to. We went swimming at the first party and saw fireworks at the second one.

Daredevil

More than likely over time there will probably be a series of daredevil related pictures and videos. This is me riding my friend W's rocket down my driveway.

The Zoo

Today we went to the zoo with my cousin D. We take him somewhere for his birthday every year. We had fun, we saw; fish, sharks, a dolphin, giraffe, praire dogs, birds, horses, cows, pigs, wolverine, beavers, otters, turkeys, brown bears, fish, butterflies, bald eagle, bison, gibbon, porcupine, sheep, tree kangaroo and had a ride in a horse drawn wagon and we saw fish too.

Quiet Time

Do you get quiet time at your house at night? Daddy wishes that he did. Here are a couple of videos of me having fun after 9pm.

Swimming

We went to grandma and papa's to go swimming. I like to clean the pool and jump in the water. Mommy took a lot of pictures of me jumping and splashing in the water, but daddy had something on his arms called a farmers tan and didn't want to share those pictures.

Dinner and a Nap

I've been feeding myself for a long time now, but recently they (my roomates) have started to let me use a spoon. Now my fingers don't get so sticky from food.

I also like to take a nap after dinner, do you?

Happy Mothers Day

We all went out to lunch today for mothers day. It was fun and afterwards Krazy K came over to play with my new bubble machine.

Daddy took Friday off to work on my new play set and papa came over today to help finish it up. It is really fun. I almost fell asleep on the tire swing after all my friends left this afternoon.

Papa came over tonight to help build the play set. I was helping too.

One "Step" closer

Look daddy built me a ladder. I don't know what it is for, but it came from one of those big boxes I showed you the other day. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Another Tuesday with Dad

So mommy had class again tonight so daddy and I went for a walk and tuned up our lawn mowers. You should always were safety glasses or cool sunglasses when working with tools.

Look what I got

Yesterday we went to Sam's Club and mommy and daddy bought something for me and today daddy picked it up.  It is going to be so cool.  This is mine right?

Shopping

I went grocery shopping with mommy tonight. It was fun. I like to help take the groceries out of the bags. You can see that we got some water, powerade and our favorite Old Home Foods cottage cheese.

I got a mower

For my birthday one of the gifts I got was my own mower like daddy's.

Today we played outside and I got to ride around the neighborhood in my new wagon.  The other kids took turns pulling me.  It was fun.

Krazy K's Second Birthday

Today we went to a birthday party for my cousin Krazy K.  She is two.  We had pizza and grandma made a cake.

My First Birthday Party

Today was my first birthday party with friends and family. It was fun. We went to a park near our house. I got a lot of presents and had a cupcake. Thank you to everyone who came.

My First Birthday

Today was my first birthday. Today we went to get my picture taken and I got to open presents tonight. Mom and dad got me some puzzles, a little football, a new hat and two chairs for this summer on the patio. I also got to have some cake, you can watch me eat it in the video.

Fun Weekend

This weekend I played in the snow for the first time, we made a snow angel and a little snowman.  We also visited friends for dinner and played with a bunch of kids.  It was fun.

Big News!

I've been meaning to post this for a while. For a couple of weeks now I've been able to do a little walking. It's kind of fun, especially the part at the end of walking when you get to tackle people.

I got a new piano this weekend!

Super Bowl

Yesterday I saw my first Super Bowl. The game was pretty good and there were some funny commercials. I liked the one's with the little guy who is buying stuff on etrade. He has his own computer like I do.

Tuesday with Daddy

On Tuesday mommy goes to school at night and leaves me all alone with daddy. It isn't so bad. We have a quiet dinner together (see the video) and we play toys and watch NCIS and if there is a hockey game we watch that too.

Happy New Year!

The last week has been pretty busy. We had another Christmas to go to and I got more toys and clothes. I waved good bye to daddy for the first time as he left to go watch some fights with papa. Mommy has been on vacation all week and we have been having fun, I even helped with the dishes.
