I got goggles for swimming. Lessons are fun, we are almost done and then we can swim at grandma and papa's house.
I've been taking skating lessons with daddy. I can get on and off the ice by myself, hop, fall down and get back up, and touch my toes. We get cool stickers each week.
Tonight we had dinner for Christmas Eve. We had smoked brisket, potatoes and corn. I was hungry so I started eating, I don't know what took them so long to sit down.
This weekend we had a Christmas party with our friends, daddy won the ugly Christmas sweater contest. He had Christmas lights on his sweater. This is a picture of me relaxing before we went to the party. Today we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Christmas brunch. It was fun, we took a lot of pictures and opened gifts. I got a lot of nice stuff.
This weekend was fun. We spent Saturday watching the snow fall and daddy clear driveways on our street. After daddy got all the snow cleared from our driveway we started our holiday fun on Sunday. We went to see Santa Claus, he said he knew that I was good this year. He let me help him ring his bells and gave me a candy cane. Then we went to grandma and papa's house for our first Christmas party of the season. I got a football and played with cousins.
All this snow makes it tough to walk. Daddy and I were outside bright and early this weekend clearing the driveway and playing in the snow. Daddy bought me a shovel the other day so I helped.
Today daddy and I went with papa to great great aunt Marie's house to pick up sticks in her yard and take them to the compost site. It was fun, we picked up lot of sticks. She gave me a little puppy stuffed animal and some candy.
Today we went to Tettegouche State Park. I made it most of the way up to Two Steps Falls except daddy had to carry me out the last mile. I was a little tired. He said I snored the last half mile, but I don't snore. We went to two different parts of Temperance River State Park. First we went on the Superior Hiking Trail, we found a hole in the rocks. Then we went hiking down along the river by Lake Superior.
Today we went to Grand Portage State Park and saw the water fall. It was really high. It made the stairs all icy. We saw a rainbow too. This picture is of me, mommy and Canada. We didn't go to Canada, we just saw it across the Pigeon River. We went to Sven & Ole's Pizza for lunch and we went shopping too. I like salt water taffy. I got some new flashcards that have birds and animals on them.
Today we went to Gooseberry Falls and went hiking. I like to go hiking. The water was really roaring because of all the rain and snow earlier this week.
